1. Trial before purchase

BAS plans to provide a 30-calendar-day evaluation trial so customers can assess the workflow and system compatibility before purchasing. The trial begins after successful activation and does not automatically convert into a paid license.

2. General refund rule

Annual BAS Calibration Suite license payments are generally final and non-refundable after successful license activation, except where this policy states otherwise or applicable law requires a refund. A refund may deactivate the related license.

3. Situations BAS will correct

BAS will review and correct:

  • A duplicate charge for the same intended purchase.
  • An incorrect amount charged by BAS.
  • A completed payment for which BAS cannot provide a usable license after a reasonable effort to correct the delivery or activation problem.
  • A refund required by applicable law.
  • An exceptional circumstance approved by BAS after account and transaction review.

4. Situations generally handled without a refund

  • Changing your mind after activating the license.
  • Not using the software or requesting a partial refund for unused time.
  • A computer crash, repair, or legitimate replacement, which is normally handled through license recovery, reactivation, or transfer.
  • A lost license key, which is normally handled through the BAS account and recovery process.
  • A computer that does not meet clearly published system requirements.
  • Loss of locally stored calibration data where the customer did not maintain an appropriate backup.

5. Cancellation and renewal

Cancellation stops the next annual renewal; it is different from a refund of a completed payment. A customer who cancels will ordinarily retain licensed access through the end of the current paid term. BAS plans to provide online cancellation through the customer account and renewal reminders approximately 30, 14, 7, and 1 day before expiration.

6. Clear renewal consent

Before initiating an automatically renewing annual license, BAS will clearly disclose the price, renewal frequency, renewal date or calculation method, cancellation process, and refund rule; obtain affirmative consent; and provide a post-purchase acknowledgment. BAS will not treat silence or trial use as permission to charge.

7. Request review

A customer requesting correction or refund review should provide the BAS account email, order or transaction number, affected license, charge date and amount, and a concise explanation. BAS may verify transaction, activation, and computer-assignment records before deciding the request. Customers should not send full payment-card numbers by email.

8. Payment reversals and taxes

Customers should contact BAS first so duplicate charges, license delivery, or activation problems can be investigated. Fraudulent or abusive payment disputes may result in license suspension. Taxes will be handled in accordance with the transaction, payment provider’s procedures, and applicable law.

9. Contact

Refund and billing questions may be sent to info@bassoftwaresolutions.com. This mailbox is a pre-launch placeholder and will be activated before BAS accepts payments.
