1. Current website status

The BAS promotional website is under development. The Contact BAS and Early Access forms currently operate in preview mode and do not transmit or store submitted form information. BAS will update this policy when secure form delivery, customer accounts, trials, licensing, purchasing, analytics, or other data services become active.

2. Information BAS may collect

When the applicable services become active, BAS may collect information that you provide directly, including:

  • Name, email address, company, country, mailing address, and contact details.
  • Early Access selections and separate promotional-email consent.
  • Questions, support requests, feedback, and communications with BAS.
  • Account, trial, license, activation, renewal, purchase, and transaction records.
  • Computer-identification and technical information reasonably needed to activate, validate, support, transfer, and protect a BAS license.

BAS may also receive limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the website, such as IP address, browser type, device type, request logs, and security events. Payment-card information is expected to be processed by a payment provider rather than stored directly by BAS.

3. How information may be used

  • Provide and manage accounts, trials, licenses, purchases, renewals, downloads, and support.
  • Verify identity, prevent duplicate trials, protect against fraud, and enforce licensing limits.
  • Respond to inquiries and send essential service, activation, security, billing, and renewal communications.
  • Send promotional messages only when separate consent has been provided.
  • Improve BAS products, documentation, website performance, and customer support.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect BAS, its customers, and the public.

4. Marketing choices

Marketing consent is optional and separate from account creation, Early Access registration, trial access, and purchasing. Essential service communications are not promotional messages. A recipient may unsubscribe from promotional messages at any time using the unsubscribe control provided with those messages or by contacting BAS.

5. Sharing and service providers

BAS does not plan to sell personal information. BAS may provide limited information to vendors that support website hosting, secure communications, customer accounts, licensing, payments, analytics, and support. Those providers should receive only the information reasonably needed to perform their services. BAS may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights and security, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Retention

BAS plans to retain applicable customer, account, licensing, purchase, and support records for up to seven years when needed for legitimate business, tax, audit, security, warranty, dispute, and legal purposes. Information may be retained for a shorter or longer period when its purpose or applicable law requires. Promotional-email information will be retained until consent is withdrawn or the record is no longer needed, subject to maintaining a limited suppression record so an unsubscribe request continues to be honored.

7. Security and customer responsibilities

BAS intends to use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Customers are responsible for safeguarding account credentials and for protecting and backing up calibration information stored locally in BAS Calibration Suite.

8. Your choices and requests

Subject to applicable law and verification, you may ask BAS to provide, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, or to explain how it is used. Some records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, security, licensing, or dispute purposes.

9. Children, international use, and policy changes

BAS products and services are intended for business and professional users and are not directed to children under 18. Information may be processed in the United States. BAS will post material policy changes with a revised effective date and provide additional notice when legally required.

10. Contact

Privacy questions and requests may be sent to info@bassoftwaresolutions.com. This mailbox is a pre-launch placeholder and will be activated before public information collection begins.
